Ink
Ā
The inspiration behind "Ink" stems from the profound art of Chinese calligraphy, which is traditionally written only in black ink.
As I reflect on my childhood, memories of my mother's study room flood my mindāits walls adorned with her exquisite calligraphy artwork. Stepping into her workshop, the distinct scent of ink and rice paper enveloped me, creating a sensory experience that remains in my memory.
Practicing Chinese calligraphy is like embracing a mindful meditation. Although there are only two colors, with each delicate movement of the brush stroke, a vibrant world emerged on the paper, it expresses up and down, presence and absence, virtual and reality, yin and yang. Time and space become eternal at this moment with the harmony it creates.
Ink seeks to capture and evoke these profound sensations, allowing you to immerse yourself in the timeless artistry of Chinese calligraphy.

Oriental Orchid
Orchids have been cultivated in China for over 2,000 years and hold a special place in Chinese culture. They are considered one of the top flowers and have garnered deep affection from the Chinese people. Born in deep mountain valleys, the evergreen leaves of orchids sway gracefully in the wind, while their soft yet far-reaching aroma is highly cherished.
Chinese orchids are more than just decorative plants, they are deeply intertwined with Chinese cultural traditions. With their elegant appearance and delicate scent, they have become symbols of female beauty. Chinese scholars have held a strong affinity for orchids since ancient times, as they embody qualities such as integrity, nobility, humility, and self-restraint, which are regarded as virtues of a true gentleman. This reverence for orchids is often expressed through ancient Chinese prose, poetry, calligraphy, and painting.
